green smoothies

If you haven’t yet started drinking green smoothies, there are a lot of reasons why you may want to give it a try.

I’ve been making an effort to drink a green smoothie every day for the last week.  I missed one day because I made a yucky smoothie recipe that I couldn’t get down (recipe NOT forthcoming) and my day got away from me and before I knew it it was dinner time.  I like to have my green smoothies in the mid afternoon and I’ve even started making enough so that I can have an 8 ounce glass the next morning with my breakfast.  If it weren’t for all the baking I’ve been doing for my forthcoming Quinoa for Kids & Families ebook, I’m pretty sure I would have even lost weight.  (I’ve GOT to taste you know…I mean – its kinda my job!)

Anyways, weight loss aside I have to say that I’ve never felt better.  I’m sleeping great and my energy levels haven’t been this high in years!

My experience to date aside, there is a very real reason that there is a green smoothie revolution!  Not only to green smoothie recipes have the potential to make you feel AMAZING, they are also surprisingly delicious.  Had you told me that I would actually look forward to this spinach smoothie recipe, I would have told you that you were crazy!  I’d like to encourage you to give it a try – even if you are feeling a little trepidation.

For me personally, I find that I like green smoothies with spinach as a main component.  I think it is a mixture of both the taste and texture!  Give this green smoothie a try and let me know what you think!
